The article SKIPing toward an Active Start Promoting Physical Activity in Preschoolers from NAEYC is a reource for developing afoundation of teaching and encourageing development of motor skills. In the article are also ideas for implementaitn activities that promote motor skill development.

 - Read through resources listed above.

As a whole team:

Compare guidelines and ideas for activities from the NAEYC article with those found in ECI’s developmental milestones and On the Move from Activity 2 .
  - Challenge your team to develop a plan to promote education about active bodies and/or encourage active bodies of the children that attend your program. How can you integrate physical activity into the Early Childhood classroom? How can you teach parents the importance of doing physical activities with their children? How can you integrate your ideas into all components of your program?
- Develop an activity for working with your assigned age group or the parents of children in your age group.
- Share your information and ideas with the rest of the team.
